Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website.
I’m Dr Anna Lose, a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Lecturer with substantial experience spanning almost a decade supporting children, young people, adults, and families in both the NHS and private practice.
Over the years, I’ve worked in many different settings—from people’s homes and schools to NHS clinics and inpatient wards—helping individuals and families navigate a wide range of challenges. These have included anxiety, stress, depression, OCD, phobias, body image concerns, relationship and family difficulties, as well as adjustment to health conditions such as chronic pain, asthma, cranioplasty, gastroenterology and orthopaedic issues, and burns recovery.
My approach is integrative and tailored: I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness-based methods, systemic frameworks, and psychodynamic perspectives—always working collaboratively to find the approach that suits you best.
In addition to therapy, I also provide training and supervision for individuals and organisations. These can cover a wide variety of areas, including supporting emotional well-being, identifying mental health difficulties, and effective approaches to stress management.
I also offer coaching services to support personal and professional development. Coaching is designed to help you set clear goals, build confidence, and develop practical strategies to overcome obstacles and thrive. Whether you’re facing a transition or seeking to enhance your wellbeing and motivation, coaching provides a positive, forward-focused space to grow.
My aim is to provide a safe, supportive space to help you make sense of your experiences, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
I know that finding the right therapist and starting therapy can be not an easy process, so I will be very happy to support you with it. I look forward to speaking with you.
